Klaus-Peter Hildenbrand

Klaus -Peter Hildenbrand ( born September 11, 1952 in Dörrebach ) is a former German long-distance runner.

In 1974 he was at the European Athletics Championships in Rome aft over 5000 meters. The following year he was at the World Cross Country Championships in Rabat also eighth.

His greatest achievement is the bronze medal in the 5000 -meter run at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. About the same distance he set in 1976 with a German record 13:13,69 min and was twice German champion (1975 and 1976). In addition, he was also in 1976 German champion in the 10,000 meter race.

In 1979, he became the local hero the Darmstadt city run as well as the New Year's run Bolzano.

Klaus -Peter Hildenbrand is 1,81 m tall and weighed about 70 kg competition times. He started first for the LG Andernach and Neuwied from 1976 for the ASC Darmstadt.
