Klaus Reichert

Klaus Reichert ( born June 3, 1947 in Hanau ) is a former German fencer who has been with the foil world champion and Olympic champion.

Klaus Reichert joined while studying dentistry at the OFC Bonn, his coach was Jean Coibion ​​.

In the World Fencing Championships 1971 Reichert reached for the first time a grand finale and finished fifth. With the team he finished 5th place at the Olympic Games in 1972 and 2nd place at the World Fencing Championship in 1973. After two fourth places with the team at the World Championships in 1974 and 1975 he won at the 1976 Olympic Games team gold. Also in 1977 he won team gold at the World Championship in Buenos Aires. 1983 Reichert won at the World Championships in Vienna again and won team gold at the European Championships in Lisbon silver in singles.
