Klaus Uwe Benneter

Klaus Uwe Benneter ( born March 1, 1947 in Karlsruhe ) is a German politician ( SPD).

He was in 1977 as a representative of the Stamokap wing national chairman of the Young Socialists and 2004-2005 Secretary General of the SPD and the 2005-2009 General Counsel of the SPD parliamentary group.

Life and career

After graduating from high school in 1966 in Karlsruhe Benneter graduated in law at the Free University of Berlin, where he graduated in 1971 with the first state exam. After legal training was followed by the second legal state exam in 1974. Since 1975 he has been a lawyer since 1985 and also as a notary. After leaving his political posts he is involved in various charitable projects and is dedicated to his hobby of raising pigeons.

Klaus Uwe Benneter is widowed and has a son.

Party
