History

The cornerstone of Klauser shoes was by Walter Kamp, who emigrated from Clare Klauser by purchasing the shoe shop Kamp on 9 May 1936 in the United States, as a " takeover of Jewish businesses by Aryan entrepreneurs" set. In March 1938, the takeover of the business of the Jew Siegfried Rosenberg, who had to give up due to a boycott. 1965 came Mary Prange ( as limited partner ) and Gerd Prange ( General Partner ) in the shoe business. In the 1970s and 1980s, the company expanded by opening more stores in Wuppertal and in other cities in North Rhine - Westphalia. In 1986, the company consists of 28 branches.
