Klavs Bruun Jørgensen

Klavs Hørlykke Bruun Jørgensen ( born April 3, 1974 in Copenhagen, Denmark ) is a former Danish handball player. Since end of his career he has worked as a handball coach. Bruun Jørgensen is married to the Women's Handball Rikke Hørlykke.
Career
Klavs Bruun Jørgensen began with the handball game at Virum Sorgenfri HK, where he already met his future companions Ian Marko Fog and Christian Hjermind. For the capital city, he debuted in the Danish first division and won the 1997 Danish championship. In 1998, the right back player for SG Wallau mass home in the German handball league, but returned after only one year back to Copenhagen. In 2003 he moved on to the top club GOG Svendborg TGI. There he won in 2004 and again in 2007, the Danish Championship and the 2005 Danish Cup. In 2007 he returned one last time back in his hometown of Copenhagen, where he this time, however, joined the emerging FCK Håndbold. With the FCK he won the 2008 Danish championship.
Klavs Bruun Jørgensen in his career disputed 185 matches for the Danish men's national handball team. In the 2002 and 2004 he won bronze.
Klavs Bruun Jørgensen moved in summer 2009 to AG Håndbold. After a season Jørgensen ended his active career there and took over together with Søren Herskind as coach of the Danish first division side AG København, which was created through the merger of AG Håndbold 2010 with the FCK Håndbold. Under her leadership won AG København 2011 championship. From the summer of 2011 they formed together with Magnus Andersson a coach Trio. After negotiations failed over a contract extension, Jørgensen ended 4 October 2011 his involvement with the club. In January 2012, he took over until the end of the season as coach of Nordsjælland Håndbold. He was then taken by Team Tvis Holstebro under contract. On November 24, 2013, the Dansk Håndbold Forbund announced that Klavs Bruun Jørgensen during the European Handball Championship in 2014 represents the health prevented assistant coach of the Danish national Henrik Kronborg.
