The Klehini River is a glacier -fed river in the Stikine region in the north of the Canadian province of British Columbia and in the panhandle of the U.S. state of Alaska, northwest of Haines.

The Klehini River is 58 long and originates in British Columbia near the border with Alaska. It ends at Wells in the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve in the lower reaches of the Chilkat River, the main tributary he is. The mouth of the River Tsirku is 2 km further south. The Haines Highway runs from the border to the mouth of Klehini River in the Chilkat River parallel to the river. The Klehini River forms the northern border of the Chilkat Range, a mountain range of the Alsek Ranges in Elias chain.
