The small Vielener Lake is a lake in the municipality of Small Thank district Mecklenburg Lake District Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. The lake is approximately 2300 meters long and up to 550 meters wide with a small wooded island in the northeastern part. On the north side the forest area hooves wood adjacent to the lake. Nature reserve

The small lake is Vielener reported with adjacent shore areas as eponymous 162 hectares of nature reserve. The protected status was made on 7 July 1993 with an expansion in 1996. Eutrophic shallow lake serves as the breeding, resting and wintering area for a wide variety of water birds and waders, such as Grey Goose, Goosander, Smew and Red-necked Grebe. But it is also the area of fish and sea eagles, herons and kingfishers.

The current field state is considered to be good. There are no public roads in the area.
