Klein Wesenberg
Klein Wesenberg ( Low German Lütt Wasen Barg ) is a municipality in the extreme east of the circle Stormarn in Schleswig -Holstein.

History
Klein Wesenberg was first mentioned in 1251 in a contract of sale of the monastery Reinfeld. However, the village is likely to be considerably older. Since 1358 the monastery had dominion over the place. With the introduction of the Reformation and the associated abolition of the secular rights of the monastery is the village came to the old sovereign Official Reinfeld.
With the resignation of Vorwerk Klein Wesenberg 1743 serfdom was abolished. After the annexation of Schleswig-Holstein by Prussia in 1867, the town was incorporated into the newly founded Stormarn. The proven since the 12th century church was destroyed by a storm and rebuilt in 1882 at the same place again.
The introduction of the Prussian municipal constitution in 1889 made Klein Wesenberg the seat of the administrative district of the same name, whose members also included Ahrensfelde, young and old Barnitz, Small Schenkenberg, Westerau and the estate districts Trenthorst and Wulmenau belonged. Religions
