The Kleine Ohe (also: Count Ohe ) is fed from source streams of the highlands of the Bavarian Forest around the Lusen. 1558, the city Grafenau tried to drift the right at Kleine Ohe. Thus, the river was used until shortly after the Second World War for the Holztrift since the mid-16th century. In this way, the citizens were supplied with firewood and timber from the northern forests around the Lusen. Since 1976, the Kleine Ohe in Grafenau is dammed into a lake. South of the city, she unites with the Great Ohe Ohe and Mitter Acher. These are the headwaters of the Ilz.

At river kilometer 6.00, there is a level measuring point of the Water Management Office Deggendorf for the NID Bavaria.
