Kleiner Rachel

Summit cross of the Little Rachel with views of the water dam Frauenau

It is located about 900 m northwest of the greater Great Rachel ( 1,453 m), but climbed far less. On the rocks just below the highest point there is a cross on the summit with summit log. From there, allowing views to the Zwiesler angle, the Great Arber, the Falkenstein and the drinking water reservoir Frauenau.

The Little Rachel is accessible only on foot via different paths, for instance by Oberfrauenau, the train station or from the Grand Klingenbrunn Rachel across. However, the climb to the summit is not marked and requires pathfinding.
