Kleinleinungen is a town in the southern Harz in the district of Mansfeld- South Harz in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geographical Location

Kleinleinungen is located in the southern Harz on the road between Wickerode and Drebsdorf on a leash.

History

Kleinleinungen was the property of the Counts of Stolberg and was part of the Office Questenberg in the County of Stolberg- Roßla. Until 1815 Kleinleinungen was under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saxony, and then got to the administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony Merseburg.

1819 lived in Kleinleinungen 192 inhabitants in 42 houses.

From 1952 to 1990 Kleinleinungen belonged to the East German district hall.

On January 1, 1970 Drebsdorf was incorporated into the municipality Kleinleinungen. With Kleinleinungen together Drebsdorf came on 1 April 1974 to Großleinungen. Both Kleinleinungen and Drebsdorf were with the spin-off from Großleinungen on 1 April 1990 again independent communities.

On 1 January 2010, joined the communities Kleinleinungen, Bennungen, Breitenstein, Breitungen, Dieter village, Drebsdorf, Hainrode, together Hayn ( resin) Questenberg Roßla, Rottleberode Schwenda and Uftrungen the new community Suedharz. At the same time the management of community - Roßla Suedharz, belonged to the Kleinleinungen was dissolved.
