Kleinobringen

Kleinobringen is a municipality in the northern part of the Weimar area and part of the joint management Nordkreis Weimar.

Kleinobringen located on the north flank of the mountain Etter 5 km from the city of Weimar away.

History

Kleinobringen is mentioned for the first time on June 13, 1342 in a deed of sale name. From the beginning of the 19th century was the site until 1918 part of the Grand Duchy of Saxe -Weimar- Eisenach. Kleinobringen was separated in 1877 after numerous disputes of Heichelheim. The place was in 1945 with the State of Thuringia part of the Soviet occupation zone and the GDR. Since 1990, the city is part of the newly established state of Thuringia.
