Klettstedt
Klettstedt is a municipality in Unstrut Hainich in Thuringia. It belongs to the administrative community Bad Tennstedt.
Geography
Klettstedt lies in the Thuringian basin between Bad Langensalza and Bad Tennstedt. The neighboring villages are, clockwise from 12.00 clock - Tottleben, wholesale and retail Urleben, Großvargula, Nägelstedt and Sundhausen. By Klettstedt the clunkers creek flows towards Urleben ..
History
874 was the first known mention of the community. The taverns of Großvargula had 1214 Klettstedt eight yards, and several hooves good farmland.

Attractions
- Evangelical Church of St. Cecilia: Above the entrance to the church steeple year 1574, the entrance to the nave year 1818 ( restoration ). Inside the church memorial plaques to the fallen of both world wars and the victims after 1945 from the site. On the no longer used as a cemetery churchyard a small stone cross of 1582 and a Waidmühlstein as a reminder of the former importance of dyers woad plant for the village.
Economy and infrastructure
Through the village take the road 3176 from Bad Langensalza leads through the Thuringian Basin towards Sömmerda.
Environment
In the south and southeast of the village is determined by a number of large wind turbines the landscape.
