Klez

The Klez virus is a computer virus from the year 2001. It spread through to e-mail attached files and infected Windows operating systems to read out personal information, especially e- mail addresses, and also to spread even further. A so -propagating type of virus is also called computer worm. He also worked as spam spreader by spreading unwanted files in large quantities by the recipient. A few months after his first appearance in October 2001, the Klez virus played virtually no role because it discovered the anti- virus software and Microsoft closed the relevant for the intruder security vulnerabilities.

Operation

The Klez virus penetrated through the e -mail program Outlook or the web browser Internet Explorer (under the operating systems Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, ME, 2000 and XP ) via the Internet to the PC.
