Geography

Kliding is located in the Eifel region, 7 km to the Moselle.

Climate

The annual precipitation is 768 mm. The deposits are located in the middle third of the detected values ​​in Germany. At 56% of the stations of the German Weather Service lower values ​​are registered. The driest month is April, the most rainfall comes in June. In June, falling 1.5 times more rainfall than in April. History

1360 we find the first written reference as the feud of Dietrich widow, Lord elms. The state rule Kurtriers ends with the occupation of the left bank of the Rhine 1794/96 by French revolutionary troops. 1815 it to the Congress of Vienna was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia. Urschmitt and Kliding, who formed a community were divided in 1848. 1869 was the inauguration of the new chapel instead of Kliding.
