Klieken is a district of Coswig (Anhalt) in Wittenberg district in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).

Geography

Klieken located on the edge of the Kliekener Aue, a flat shore area, which is bordered by a sweeping southward same loop. The cities of Dessau and Wittenberg are located in the immediate vicinity Kliekens.

History

In Klieken it was up to the land reform in 1945 two manors ( Unterhof and Oberhof ), which belonged to the noble family of Lattorff centuries.
