Klips ve Onlar

Clips ve onlar was a short-lived Turkish pop band.

They represented Turkey in the Euro Vision Song Contest 1986 in Bergen with the song " Halley ", which revolved around the Halley's comet, which was located in 1986 after 76 years again at perigee. The text dealt with the greeting of the comet and a communication with him to bring the earth and the earthlings happiness and blessing, with other text passages represented the response of the comet so that the earth greeted in several languages ​​and announced that he was just out of the reason come to bring good luck and blessing.

In the end, for the composition of Ilhan Irem Melih Kibar and ninth place - of Yugoslavia gave it the highest score of Germany and 8 and thus the previously highest score from Germany to the participating since 1975 in Turkey. The number 9 was the previously best result in Grand Prix history of the country and remained so until 1997.

Members of the group were originally Sevingül Bahadir, Gür Akad, Emre Tukur, Derya Bozkurt and Seden Kutlubay. The latter, however, took - apparently for personal reasons - not the actual Song Contest and was in Bergen replaced by Candan Erçetin.
