Klocksin

Klocksin is a municipality in the district of Mecklenburg Lake District Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is goods located in the town of Waren managed by the Office Lakelands (Müritz).

Geography

The community Klocksin in the Mecklenburg Lake District lies on the North Sea and Baltic Sea watershed. During located north of Klocksin Malchiner lake over the Peene to the Baltic Sea drains, the waters flow south of Klocksin ( meltwater channel of Loppiner - Klocksiner Lake District, including Lake Flat ) on the Müritz Elde and Elbe to the North Sea. Most of the municipality is located in the Natural Park Nossentin / Schwinzer Heath. The cities Teterow and Waren (Müritz ) are respectively 16 km away from Klocksin away.

To Klocksin include the districts Blücherhof, Lütgendorf, Neuhof and Sapshagen.

Economy and infrastructure

The municipal area is dominated by agriculture, tourism plays an increasingly larger role. In recent years, many homes are formed in Klocksin.

Klocksin is located near the national road 108 Teterow by Waren (Müritz), the motorway connection Linstow (A 19) is 13 km away. The nearest train stations are located in Waren ( Müritz) and Teterow.

Attractions

The farmhouse in Klocksin is a two-story, stucco building dreizehnachsiger from the late 19th century.

The village church in the district Lütgendorf dates from the 13th century. The pulpit and altar the Patronatsloge date from the second half of the 18th century. The church has no bell tower, as a substitute serves a free-standing belfry with a bell from 1860.

The Castle is a Neo-Baroque stucco building Blücherhof of 1902. The complex also include a neo-baroque building which includes also roof tower and the small dovecote. The lock includes a significant Dendrological Garden, which was created 1900-06 by Alexander Koenig.
