KÅ‚odawa, Lubusz Voivodeship

Kłodawa ( German Kladow, formerly Cladow ) is a village in the Polish Lubusz Voivodeship in powiat Gorzowski. The town is the seat of the rural community Kłodawa.

History

By 1945 Kladow was a municipality in the district of Landsberg ( Warta ). After the end of World War II, the town was taken over by the Potsdam Agreement in Polish administration and expelled the German population. Since then the place has been called Kłodawa.
