KÅ‚odawa

Kłodawa ( German 1940-1945: Tonningen ) is a town with 6,800 inhabitants in Poland. It is located 20 kilometers away from Kolo and belongs to the powiat Kolski, Greater Poland Voivodeship to.

History

The city was chartered the settlement on August 9, 1430 Władysław II Jagiello. At the Second Partition of Poland Kłodawa 1793, under Prussian rule. 1806, the city became part of the Duchy of Warsaw and in 1815 part of Congress Poland. 1867 lost Kłodawa be a town. After the end of World War II, the city became part of Poland's newly formed and in 1925 received again the town charter.
