Quo Vadis ( Latin for " where are you going ?") Is a challenging mind game and sliding wooden puzzle for a player. It appeared in 1984 at HABA (game number 2480 ). After the game was taken out of the product range in 2005, it was from 2008 to 2010 again as Luzifix # 2 - sold devil Labyrinth ( game number 2513 ).

Gameplay

The game consists of a game board with 4 × 5 squares, a red-colored 2 × 2 tile ( in the version Luzifix # 2 called "the devil " ) and four 1 × 1 tiles and five 1 × 2 tiles. First, the game pieces are placed on the field, as specified on the manual ( output position, see figure). The task now is to maneuver the red square by maneuvering the game pieces to the ( single ) output back ( bottom of the image ). Since only two fields are not used on the field at any one time, each token can always be moved horizontally or vertically. No piece may skip another. If the red token can leave the game board through the output, the problem is solved. The other " blocking " tiles may meanwhile not leave the pitch.

Quo Vadis promotes - in addition to the ability to concentrate - the logical, in particular the recursive thinking and problem solving skills. The guide also contains a solution. It has 101 trains, if you count every move a tile as a train.
