Klusenberg (center) at the Hengsteysee

The Klusenberg is 254.33 m above sea level. NHN, the highest elevation on the Dortmund city.

Located west of Hohensyburgstraße is the Klusenberg part of Ardeygebirges. To the south, its slopes fall away to Hengsteysee. The Klusenberg is forested and large parts belong to the nature reserve Ruhr escarpments Hohensyburgstraße.

Especially in the southwest area of the mountain there is residential development and on the hilltop is an active quarry (Ruhr sandstone, operating Imberg ).
