The Office Klützer angle is in the northern part of the North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ).

In this office five municipalities and the city are Klutz ( administrative seat ) joined forces to do their administrative business. For office originally belonged the communities Damshagen, Moor, Parin, Klutz, Elmenhorst and Great Walmstorf. On 1 January 1999, the previously independent municipalities Moor and Parin merged to form the new municipality of Moor - Rolofshagen. The municipality was incorporated Elmenhorst (belonging until then to the Official Baltic Sea beach ) on 1 January 2004 in the town Kalkhorst. The community Kalkhorst moved to the Official Klützer angle. On 1 January 2005 the new congregation High churches formed (until then Office Gägelow ) from Great Walmstorf and Gramkow. On the same day came out of the former Office Gägelow the community Zierow added. On 7 June 2009 the town moor Rolofshagen was incorporated into Damshagen. 1 July 2011, Bolton lost with the inclusion in the Office of the status of an official free community.

The Klützer angle, which gave its name to the office, is a peninsula in the Bay of Mecklenburg between the Hanseatic cities of Wismar ( Wismar Bay ) and Lübeck ( Luebeck Bay ) along the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg. The highest point of this hilly area is the High Schoenberg 89 m above sea level. NHN. An intact nature and proximity to the Baltic and tourism play an increasingly more important. The beach areas are very varied - besides the cliffs Großklützhöved and Kleinklützhöved there are long sandy beaches, especially on the almost circular bay of the well-Wiek and the further east past Eggers Wiek.

Through the Office Klützer angle the roads of Wismar lead over Klutz to Lübeck and (via the Priwall ) to Travemünde and the Baltic Sea resort of Bolton to Greve mills. The city was Klutz endpoint of the museum railway line from Greve mills. The railway line Grevesmühlen - Klutz was dismantled in 2006.
