KMSK Deinze

Koninklijke Maatschappij SK Deinze, often referred to by the abbreviation KMSK Deinze, is a Belgian football club from the city ostflandrischen Deinze.

History

The club was founded on March 12, 1926 and recorded under the Stamnummer 818 in the register of the Belgian Football Association. In the following years they played mainly in regional championships. 1940 has been suspended because of World War II the game operation, which was resuming in 1946.

By 1982, they played only at the provincial level, the promotion to the Vierde Class / Division 4, where you stepped on to 1992, before succeeded by two first places of the walkover in the Tweede Klasse / Division 2, in which one plays since then. In 1997, they played in the promotion round, but could not qualify for the First Division itself. In the 2000 /01 season of relegation was avoided only because the second- KV Turnhout in the newly introduced licensing process has been denied a license, and this had to dismount instead.
