Kniebrink

The knee Brink seen from the south

The knee Brink is 315 m above sea level. NN is the third highest mountain in northern Germany Wiehengebirge. His immediate summit belongs administratively to the municipality Hüllhorst, ( here the village Oberbauerschaft ). The border with Luebbecke runs but immediately north of the summit, so that the Northern Slope already belongs to Luebbecke.

The height of the knee Brinks is 3 meters less than the height of the more northerly root Brinks, who saw him from Luebbecke out, face down. The mountain is largely untapped. In the spring of 2007, the trees had suffered big storm damage. The climb can be done by Luebbecke in under 45 minutes. From the south it takes around 20 minutes for the short but steep climb.

On the treeless summit region, the highest point of these hills, as the actual summit is easy to spot

Wide on the deforested by Storm Peaks region today large stands of thimble

In addition to the root Brink Brink still exceeds the knee, the 300 m mark
