Renatured bed of Knisterbaches in Spexard

The Knisterbach is an orographic right tributaries of Wapel in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany. It has a length of 13.5 km.

River course

The Knisterbach rises in about 89 meters in the district Verler Sürenheide. The be classified as lowland river waters caused by several outflows from the local meadows. Just a few meters below the headwaters introduces arrester for only slightly more northerly trending Menke Bach, thus ensuring a constant connection between the waters.

The Knisterbach flows in the further course towards the southwest by Sürenheide and subsequently by the local industrial area, in which he fed some fire water ponds.
