Knox's Headquarters State Historic Site

The Knox 's Headquarters State Historic Site refers to a complex of buildings and the surrounding land in the town of New Windsor in Orange County, New York State, United States.

The building in the style of Georgian architecture was built in 1754. During the Revolutionary War, it served as the headquarters of General Henry Knox, which is why it got its name. After that, it was also used by the Generals Nathanael Greene and Horatio Gates as headquarters. Today the estate is run by the public sector and serves as a museum.

The Knox 's Headquarters State Historic Site was recorded in 1972 as a National Historic Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of 148 historical sites in upstate New York.
