Knud Andersen (cyclist)

Knud Erik Andersen ( born January 5, 1922 in Copenhagen, † 14 November 1997) was a Danish cyclist and World Champion.

1949 Knud Andersen in Copenhagen in Ordrup world champion of amateurs in the individual pursuit. A total of eight times 1942-1952 he was a Danish amateur champion, twice in the road race and six times in the pursuit on the track. In 1949 he also won the Nordic Championships in pursuit and in the team standings.

In later years, wrote the German magazine cycling, Andersen, actually a trained chef, had actually been road racing driver because he was not considered for the national team, he only uses " out of anger " on the track cycling.
