Knut Hartwig

Knut Hartwig ( born November 13, 1969 in Münster ) is a former German footballer who made ​​71 second division games for the Wuppertal SV 1992-1994. He also played in the regional league for years for Rot-Weiss Essen and Preußen Münster.

Became famous for Hartwig in football film The Miracle of Bern, in which he portrayed the late German captain Fritz Walter. For his performance, he received praise from Walter's ex-colleagues Horst Eckel.
