Ko Kha District

Koh Kha ( Thai เกาะคา ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the province of Lampang. The Lampang Province is located in the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise): Amphoe Sop the Prap, OEM Ngam, Hang Chat, Lampang and Mae Tha Mueang Lampang Province.

Attractions

  • Wat Phra That Lampang Luang ( Thai: วัด พระ ธาตุ ลำปาง หลวง ) - southwest of Lampang located, one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand. Enclosure, jewelry ornaments from the 8th century, the temple museum.

Management

The circle is divided into nine subdistricts (tambon ), which are divided further into 73 villages ( Muban ).

Ko Kha is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district. It consists of parts of the tambon Ko Kha, Tha Sala and Pha.

In addition, there are nine " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
