Kobeliaky Raion

The Rajon Kobeljaky (Ukrainian Кобеляцький район / rayon Kobeljazkyj; Russian Кобелякский район / Kobeljakski raion ) is a district in the south of the central Ukrainian Poltava oblast. It is located in the Dnjeprtiefebene. In the south of Rajon is limited by the bank of the Dnieper. Another important river is the Vorskla, which in the Rajon flows into the Dnieper.

The Rajon was established on 7 March 1923. From 3 July 1932 to September 1937 he was part of the Kharkiv Oblast, before he came to Poltava.
