Kocaali is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Sakarya. The village lies about 50 kilometers northeast of the provincial capital of Adapazarı.

The district is located in the north of the province. It is bordered on the east by the province of Düzce, to the south Hendek, on the west by Karasu and in the north to the Black Sea. The county town is located about two kilometers from the coast. There, the highway D -010 crosses the county, which begins in the west at Karasu and east of the Black Sea coast is via Zonguldak, Sinop, Samsun and Trabzon to the Georgian border. To the south, a link road leads to Hendek. In the south of the district lying foothills of the Akçakoca Dağları with the 990 meter high Çamdağı, expansive beaches in the north. In the northeast of the river Melen Çayı flows into the sea, which forms over long distances the border with the province of Düzce.
