Kodansha
K. K. Kodansha (Japanese株式会社 讲 谈 社Kabushiki - gaisha Kodansha, Eng. Kodansha Ltd. ) Is a large Japanese literature and manga publishing company with the main office in Bunkyo, Tokyo. It was founded in 1909 by Seiji Noma. Kodansha published both manga magazines as well as more literary magazines such as Gunzo, Gendai and Shukan Gendai, and the Japanese dictionary Nihongo Daijiten. The publisher is characterized with the Kodansha Manga Award from special annual publications of this division.
