Koekelberg (? Kukəlbɛrç, listen / i ) has 20,661 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2012) at 1.17 km ², making it by Saint-Josse-ten-Noode/Sint-Joost-ten-Node the smallest of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels -Capital Region.
