Kofçaz ( Bulgarian Кофчаз ) is the name of a district town and a district in the northern Turkish province Kırklareli in Eastern Thrace. Kofçaz has 672 and the county 2,798 inhabitants ( 2010). In the district, which is the smallest district of the province, there are 16 villages. Kofçaz borders in the north to Bulgaria and to the west by the province of Edirne. The Yıldız Dağları occupy a part of the district.

Kofçaz was a Bulgarian village until the Second Balkan War in 1913, when the Bulgarian population was expelled in trains the reconquest Ostthrakiens by the Turks (→ Thracian Bulgarians ).
