Kofi Amoah Prah

Kofi Amoah Prah ( born December 20, 1974 in Accra, Ghana ) is a former German long jumper.

Prah launched for the Berlin Sports Club, the LAC Hallensee Berlin and most recently for the LG Nike Berlin. In 2000 he became German champion in the long jump. In June 2000 in Wesel Prah put his personal best of 8.20 m.

In the Indoor Athletics Championships in 1992 in Genoa, he won the silver medal. At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney he finished fifth.

On 31 August 2008 Prah ended after a competition in Elstal his active career. Meant that it was announced in September 2008 that he was doped 5 July 2008 at the German Championships in Nuremberg From attributable to end his procedural delays. The testers had discovered at Prah the banned stimulants cocaine and methylecgonine. On 22 September 2008 he has been banned from the disciplinary committee of the German Athletics Association for two years.
