Koga clan

The Koga family (Japanese久 我 家, Koga - ke ) is a branch of the Minamoto clan.

The Koga were one of the families of the Kuge ( of the court nobility ) of Japan and obtained the rank of Seigake. During the Meiji Restoration, the head of the family the title of Margrave was granted and he thus part of the Kazoku, the lower the hereditary nobility, in the aufgingen the Kuge and daimyo.

The Kamon Koga is a stylized Herbstenzianart (Gentiana scabra var buergeri ).

The family that were found was the famous Japanese actress Yoshiko Kuga ( born Koga Haruko ) disinherited because of their career choice by their grandfather, but later resumed in the family.
