The Koh -e Baba ( Pashtun بابا غر BABA Ǧar; persian کوه بابا Koh -e BABA ) is a mountain range in central Afghanistan.

It extends north-west of Kabul over a length of about 250 km in the east-west direction and provides a southwestern continuation of the Hindu Kush dar. In Shah Fuladi reached the mountain range a height of 4951 m. The Koh -e Baba forms a watershed between several river systems. To the north, the mountain range is drained by the current flowing through the Bamiyan Valley Kunduz River to the Amu Darya. In the north- west of the mountains of the Hari Rud rises. The south of the Koh -e Baba is drained by the river system of the Helmund.

About the 3500 m high Hajigak Pass leads a busy main road between Kabul and Bamiyan.
