Koh Rong

Koh Rong (also: Kaôh Rong ) is the second largest island in Cambodia. It is located in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Koh Kong province about 25 kilometers west of the city of Sihanoukville. The island has an area of ​​about 78 square kilometers and is about 15 km long and up to 9 km wide. On Koh Rong there are four villages: Koh Tuich, Dam Dkeuw, Prek Svay and Soksan.

Koh Rong, together with some smaller neighboring islands of the Kampong Som Archipelago, the Bay Chhak Kampong Som separates the Gulf of Thailand to go. The island is part of the district Botum Sakor.
