Koha Ditore

Koha Ditore ( German: Daily Time) is an Albanian-language newspaper published in Kosovo and in Albania since 1997. The newspaper with a circulation of about 12,000 copies per day, the most influential newspaper in Kosovo.

The newspaper is published under the supervision of Flaka Surroi, sister of Veton Surroi, a famous Albanian kosovoischen Publiszisten and politician, who is also the founder of the Party ORA. By the end of 2004, the newspaper was brought out of him, but he handed over the presidency to his sister because he wants to concentrate on his political career.

The newspaper reports mainly on politics, culture and sports and local news.

Projects

The newspaper was planning in 2003 to also provide contributions to television stations and to achieve a greater bearing on the Internet. It cooperates so for some time with the Serbian B92. About the transmitter ARTA the newspaper is already transmitting messages on the Internet that appear there in Albanian and English.

The international television station WTN has before also, give the newspaper some room for news on the television. These messages should be recorded seven daily according to plan. The project is supported by UNESCO and the EU.
