Kojčice

Kojčice ( German Kojtschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers northeast of Pelhřimov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Kojčice is located on the right bank of the Hejlovka in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. East of the route of State Road 34 / E runs between 551 and Pelhřimov Humpolec, behind which rise the Vršek (607 m) and the Hurka ( 581 m). South-west of the village lies the junction of Bela in the Hejlovka.

Neighboring towns are Vadčice and Dehtáře in the northeast, Útěchovičky in the east, in the southeast Chvojnov, Služátky in the south, and Radětín Krasíkovice the southwest, Pobistrýce in the west and Svépravice in the northwest.

History

The first mention of the episcopal rule Řečice belonging Kojčice village is from the year 1379th The inclusion of any Bohuchval of Kojčice in 1219 suggests that the place was already in place at that time.

After the division of the reign Řečice came Kojčice, which was formerly known as Kožčice, to rule Pelhřimov and thus the Říčanský Říčany. 1572, the city acquired Pelhřimov Kojčice and five years later her the place was also transmitted hereditary.
