Kokologo

Kokologho is a municipality ( commune Rurale ) and at the same time a department in the province Boulkiemdé the Centre- Ouest region of the West African country of Burkina Faso. The municipality comprises the villages adjacent to the main town Kokologho Basziri, Douré, Goulouré, Koulnatenga, Manega, Nidaga, Pitmoaga, Sakoinsé and Sam and counts 38 988 inhabitants.

In Kokologho is the Palace of the Na - Yiri Moogho Naba, the Emperor of the Mossi. This palace was built by Naba Boulgou in 1942. Well known are derived from the place flute player.
