Kolchyno

Koltschyno (Ukrainian Кольчино; Russian Кольчино / Koltschino, Slovak Kolčino, Hungarian Kölcsény ) is an urban-type settlement in the Western Ukraine ( Transcarpathian Oblast, Rajon Mukachevo ) northeast of the city of Mukachevo.

The approximately 4400 inhabitants village lies in the valley of Latoryzja at the confluence with the river Wysnyzja ( Визниця ) and has a station on the railway line Lviv - Chop - Stry. Since 1976 he is an urban-type settlement.

Apart from the actual site include also the belonging to the community, but independent places Schboriwzi ( Жборівці ) Klenowez ( Кленовець ) and Konopliwzi ( Коноплівці ). The front of the Second World War self, located between Klenowez and Koltschyno place Friedrichsdorf (Slovak Friďešovo, Hungarian Frigyesfalva ) was 1945/46, renamed after the annexation of Transcarpathia to the Soviet Union in Kirovo and incorporated later after Koltschyno.
