KolourPaint
KolourPaint is a free simple drawing program for the KDE graphical user interface, which his predecessor KPaint replaced from version 3.3, released in August 2004. It has simple drawing tools, but does not allow complex manipulation of photos. With KolourPaint can
- Draw diagrams, simple pictures and Freehand images
- Manipulating images and photos, create collages and add effects
- Create icons and clipart, even with transparency.
KolourPaint supports a wide range of different image formats, including JPG, PNG, PCX, XPM and GIF, but no formats for vector graphics.
The program is viewed as a KDE equivalent of the Paint program of Microsoft Windows.
