Kommos (theatre)

The kommos (Greek, plural: the Kommoi ) is an ancient Greek drama to lament dar. As part of Epeisodions is the kommos the climax of the tragedy. It sings alternately an actor and the chorus. The antiphon is usually of gods and heroes. The actor claims that rational and the chorus replies that emotionally with cheers or fear. This continues several times.
