Komnino

Komnino ( German Kuhnhof ) is a village in the rural community Smołdzino in powiat Słupski ( Stolp ) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Komnino located in Pomerania, about 19 kilometers north- northeast of the city of Slupsk ( Stolp ), 8.5 km southwest of the church village Smołdzino ( Schmolsin ) and 2.5 kilometers south of the Jezioro Gardno ( Garder See ).

History

Komnino (formerly also Kunhof or Kundehof ) was formerly a manor. In 1589, the Pomeranian duke Johann Friedrich Johann confirmed the Colrep the possession of the property as a fief. Later it was a fief of the Bandemer family. In the period 1740 - ~ 1784 Ernst Ludwig von Bandemer the owner. Around 1784, there were Kuhnhof including lying on the field Mark of the property wood keeper's house three households. After the Bandemers that still had 1804 Kuhnhof, was Friedrich Ludwig Karl von Hanstein the owner. Before 1822 the village had 30 inhabitants Kuhnhof; before 1868 it had 65 inhabitants. 1893 had the good Kuhnhof a woman of Hanstein. 1909 acquired Georg Stiff sand on Schwuchow the estate. His son William Stiff sand took over in 1913 and leased the same time the good bands, and the manor Stresow added. In 1920 he gave up the lease Rotten and bought from his estate 600 acres of land adjacent Kuhnhof added. By 1945 Kuhnhof was a part of the community Buchstein (Wendish Buckow ) in the district of Stolp, administrative region of Pomerania, Pomerania.

Towards the end of the Second World War, the region of the municipality Buchstein was occupied on March 9, 1945 by the Red Army. The end of March had left the village on the orders of the Soviet occupation for a few days all the inhabitants. In September 1945 Poland took over houses and farms; then the German villagers have been displaced. The district Kuhn village was renamed Komnino.

The village Kuhnhof now forms a part of the gmina Smołdzino (Town Schmolsin ) in the powiat Słupski ( tripping circuit) of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Church

The village population before 1945 in Kuhnhof present was Protestant. In 1925, there were no residents in Kuhnhof Catholic denomination. The church belonged to the parish of Great Guard.

School

The children of Kuhnhof attended school in Buchstein (Wendish Buckow ).
