Komsomolske (Ukrainian Комсомольське; Russian Комсомольское / Komsomolskoje ) is situated on the river Kalmius a town of about 12,000 inhabitants (2013 ) in the Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, about 42 kilometers south-east of Donetsk.

It was formed in 1933 from the railway settlement Karakubbud ( Каракуббуд ) and was called up to the renaming of 1949 Karakubstroj ( Каракубстрой ). Since 1957, it has the status of a city under Rajonsverwaltung. The village grew very quickly due to its large limestone quarries.
