KÅnan, KÅchi
Kōnan (Japanese香 南市-shi ) is a city in the prefecture Kōchi in Japan.
Geography
Kōnan is located east of Kōchi and west of Aki on the Pacific Ocean.
History
Kōnan was on 1 March 2006 from the Association of Municipalities Akaoka (赤 冈 町, chō ), Kagami (香 我 美 町, chō ), Noichi (野 市 町, chō ) and Yasu (夜 须 町, chō ), as well as the village Yoshikawa (吉川 村, -mura ) of the district of Kami founded. The county was thereupon be dissolved.
