Kongens Nytorv Station

Kongens Nytorv is an underground metro station in the Danish capital Copenhagen, under the homonymous square Kongens Nytorv. The station is served by lines M1 and M2 of the Copenhagen metro system.

The station was opened on 19 October 2002 for the newly built metro section Vestamager - Nørreport. It offers connecting flights to various bus routes. Currently, the lines M3 and M4 are under construction, which will be designed and built under the name City rings. They should once the station tick and ensure a direct connection to Copenhagen Central Station. The construction works are expected to last until 2018.
