Könkämäeno

The Könkämäeno [ ˌ køŋkæmæ eno ] ( Finnish) or Könkämäälven ( Swedish) is a river in Lapland. He entfließt the lake Kilpisjärvi and ends after 90 kilometers, near the village Markkina, where he joins the Lätäseno to Muonio älv ( Muonionjoki ). Together with the Torne and Muonio älv älv ( Tornionjoki ) the Könkämäeno forms the border between Finland and Sweden. The Könkämäeno is a popular fishing area.
